Are you planning to travel to Japan soon, or perhaps you've been living in Japan for some time and want to know where to find all of the birds?  Are you looking for bird guides, but find the language barrier prevents you from getting insights into amazing birding hotspots?  I have felt all of these things!  My goal here is to share all my birding experience in Japan so that you can, hopefully, have an easier time enjoying birds throughout this stunningly gorgeous country.

Waterase Floodplain in Gunma Pref. Japan

This is one of my favorite areas to bird in Gunma Prefecture.  There is parking and plenty of birding opportunities.  The area offers bathrooms and an information area listing some birds and other wildlife seen there.
